Payment Terms
All payments shall be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Mega Tech, payment is due within 7 days from the date of the invoice.
For all confirmed orders, 100% Advance Payment is mandatory. Manufacturing, procurement, dispatch, installation, and commissioning of the equipment shall commence only after receipt of the full advance payment.
Any alternative payment arrangement shall be valid only if confirmed in writing by Mega Tech.
Late Payment
Interest at the rate of 18% per annum may be charged on all overdue payments until the outstanding amount is fully cleared.
Mega Tech reserves the right to suspend manufacturing, dispatch, installation, warranty support, or any other services until pending payments are received.
Product Return & Exchange Policy
Goods once sold shall not be taken back or exchanged unless a genuine manufacturing defect has been confirmed by Mega Tech after proper inspection.
Products damaged due to improper handling, transportation after delivery, misuse, unauthorized modification, or customer negligence shall not be eligible for return or replacement.
Delivery & Risk
The ownership risk and responsibility for the goods shall pass to the customer immediately upon delivery.
Any loss, damage, shortage, or breakage occurring during transportation shall be the sole responsibility of the transporter or logistics service provider.
Customers are advised to inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and report any transit damage directly to the transporter.
Installation Requirements
Installation and commissioning of the equipment shall be carried out only after the customer confirms that the installation site is fully prepared.
The customer must ensure the availability of:
- Required electrical power supply
- Adequate water supply
- Civil work (if applicable)
- Proper drainage arrangements
- Safe working environment
Any delay caused due to site unavailability shall not be the responsibility of Mega Tech.
Warranty Policy
The warranty provided by Mega Tech covers manufacturing defects only.
The warranty does not cover consumable items or damages resulting from external or operational factors.
Items not covered under warranty include:
- RO Membranes
- Filter Media
- Cartridge Filters
- UV Lamps
- Chemicals
- Electrical components damaged due to voltage fluctuations
- Dry running of pumps
- Improper operation
- Physical damage
- Mishandling or negligence
Warranty claims shall be accepted only after inspection by Mega Tech’s technical team.
Free Service Policy
Where free service is applicable, it shall be provided strictly according to the mutually agreed service schedule.
The following items shall always be chargeable separately:
- Spare Parts
- Consumables
- Chemicals
- Filter Media
- Replacement Components
- Any additional service beyond the agreed scope
Unauthorized Repairs & Modifications
Any unauthorized repair, modification, alteration, dismantling, or misuse of the equipment by the customer or any third party shall immediately void the warranty.
Mega Tech shall not be responsible for any malfunction, performance issues, or damages resulting from unauthorized interventions.
Ownership of Equipment
Ownership of all supplied equipment shall remain exclusively with Mega Tech until the customer has made full payment against the invoice.
Mega Tech reserves the legal right to recover the supplied equipment in case of payment default.
Taxes
GST, TDS, and all other applicable taxes shall be charged and governed strictly in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations of the Government of India.
Any statutory changes in tax rates shall automatically become applicable.
Jurisdiction
Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of the sale of products, services, invoices, or agreements shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Electronic Invoice
Invoices generated and issued electronically by Mega Tech shall be considered legally valid without requiring a physical signature or company seal.
Force Majeure
Mega Tech shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in manufacturing, procurement, dispatch, installation, commissioning, or service caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Earthquakes
- Fire
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or labour disputes
- Transportation delays
- Pandemic situations
- Supply chain disruptions
- War or civil disturbances
- Any other unforeseen events
Delivery schedules and project timelines may be extended accordingly without any liability on Mega Tech.
100% Advance Payment Policy
All orders are accepted strictly against 100% Advance Payment unless otherwise agreed in writing by Mega Tech.
Manufacturing, procurement, dispatch, installation, and commissioning activities shall commence only after receipt of the complete advance payment.
Failure to make the required payment may result in delay, suspension, or cancellation of the order at the sole discretion of Mega Tech.
